Movie Trivia

What movie is the following quote from (see comments for answer)?

"I could be the walrus and I'd still have to bum rides off of people"

If you don't have time for this, lighten up... In my opinion, one of the best things we can do to fight terrorism is to continue to enjoy life; unafraid and having fun along the way. While Osama and his buddies are cowering in a cave somewhere, I'll be out enjoying the evening on my deck with a glass of single malt Scotch and tunes streaming over the internet to my wireless outdoor speakers.

I'll take a vacation when I want. Me and dcat are going to Sandals Negil in Jamaica this winter (and probably Hawaii next spring).

So, don't forget to shut down your PC once in a while and go have some fun... maybe a movie.

I was in Hawaii with friends and after the limo ride (limos are the price of taxis in Honolulu) into Diamond Head volcano, we didn't know what to do.

Then we saw the stand of brochures on the hotel lobby of all kinds of stuff to do and there was not enough time to do everything that week on Waikikki!

The last night we were there (back when I was a "social" drinker), we got so drunk we lost the jeep. Looked for 3 hours, couldn't find where we parked it.

Next day, sober, found it in 15 minutes.

Waikkiki truly is Paradise, so many things we did (parasailing, horse back riding, jet skiing, surfing.............

RG,

What year was that I was there in 86 my 30th. I remember a bunch of guys looking for something and falling all over the place. BWAHAHAHAHAHA… I did it all in a week and then went to the big island for the iron man race. I found a big gold ring diving and when I got home I sold the gold and it paid for my air fair. Oh do I have the stories let me tell ya…

HEY my dearest it is redhook night and I am sitting here waiting for you to come home :)

dcat,

That was around 1997. Just helped a big company straighten out a project and decided to go to Hawaii after the big payoff.

Spent $7 big ones on that trip. Worth every bit of it. Was a lot of fun.

The most cool thing, well, there was a lot of cool things, but one was sitting on the beach at 4AM, looking out across the ocean, knowing I was thousands of miles away from civilization (the rat race). Seemed as if I was on another planet.

We stayed in the Outrigger Waikiki. Spent $400 a night for the hotel.

RG,

Ok rich boy! LOL I was poor and stayed two blocks away from the ocean and took the pk. deal on pleasent hawaiian get away for 600 and that included the big island for three days. I only went to the place you stayed at for drinks. Did they still have the piano bar? They were remodleing it when I was there.

Yes I got a kick out of people there! It was in October and I was the only one swiming out to the little barge they had in the water to lay on.

I swam out there layed on it and looked at the stars. Swam back got hit on by some navy guy on the way back and asked why no one was swiming in the ocean and the guy at the desk said it is winter BWAHAHAHAHA the water was like bath water to me!

Then there was this bar....I best get to work now sorry later kiddo. :)

Right you are RG but I had so much fun that I can't remember the name. I'm sure I hit them all even the one off of kalua ave...you put your head back on a pillow and they make you a drink in your mouth. I remember you could watch people swim at the bar from the pool up above.
